There is a PDF with predictions for Australia and NZ at this link The following are the best looking events to try for:

14 04 2012 Ixion looks like a good one for NZ but star quite dim and dawn will
be starting to light sky so we probably only have 3 or 4 stations that could observe it.

29 06 2012 Pluto looks good for NZ with brighter star and we should be able to
get 6 to 8 stations or maybe more.

23 07 2012 Charon looks good for Australia. We have about 6 observers in that path.

23 07 2012 Pluto looks for NZ and Tasmania. We may be able to get 10 or more stations.

23 07 2012 Ixion  star is dim so probably only 3 or 4 stations possible.

27 07 2012 Charon looks good for NZ. Should be able to get 6 to 8 stations.

23 08 2012 Ixion looks good for Australia but will be dim star low on western
horizon so probably no more than 4 observers.

26 08 2012 Pluto looks good for much of Australia maybe able to get 6 observers.
